Post sleeves

When constructing a verandah or deck, verandah beams must sit lower than the floor beams to stop water running back into the house. SteelMAX post sleeves slip over the stump post or tubes, allowing you to set the height of bearers and beams.

Applications

  • Split-level floors
  • Decks or floors where the posts are continuous to the rail or roof height

Features and benefits

  • Can be screw-fixed at any height to carry bearers or beams
  • Can support bearers or beams running past or into the face of the post
  • Can support bearers and beams as a single member, or two members that meet at a 90 degree corner or T-intersection
