90mm stump system

SteelMAX 90mm stump systems consist of:

  • Stump bases
  • Stump tops
  • Other stump fittings, including post-sleeves, connector brackets and fascia trims.

Applications

SteelMAX 90mm stump systems are suitable for any appliation that uses 89mm or 90mm stump tube of any thickness. They are suitable for timber, RHS or PFC joists and bearers. This system is the optimal choice for LSB joists and bearers. Although our 90mm stump system can  be used with cold channel joists and bearers, our 75mm stump system is usually more suitable for that material.

  • Allows up to 75mm of telescopic height adjustment
  • Can be tailored to suit your specific application

Specifications

  • Select a stump top with a vertical fin plate that is high enough to provide lateral support and allow good fixing to the bearers
  • Do not allow the fin plate to exceed the height of the bearer. This is especially important for timber bearers, which may shrink
