SteelMAX Smart Stumps are a multi-fit, modular system for domestic and light commercial buildings. They have a long list of features and benefits and can be used in a number of applications making them incredibly versatile. Key features that contribute to their flexibility are:

• Separate bases, tops and stump tube sections that can be purchased individually, allowing you to choose components to suit various applications, site designs and specifications
• Base fittings can be used on footing pads that are not level or fixed onto the tops of sloping strip footings
• Base fittings allow the stump tube to be adjusted along the channel to plumb the tube, and to be connected at any position from the centre or flush with one end
• Base fittings can be used vertically to fix the face of retaining or base walls
• Base fittings double as a post top fitting that provides direct support to large beams
• Base fittings can also be used as a heavy duty connector bracket, to fix framing members to walls, columns or other members.
